Situated at the renowned Bear’s Club estate in Jupiter, Florida, this 17,000-square-foot property was purchased by a repeat client wanting to move south from New York. Through a surgical renovation of the new site and a furnishings plan combining new selections with an inventory of vintage pieces from the previous Frampton Co-designed property, we created a personalized home for living comfortably surrounded by art, both indoors and outdoors. The result is a striking yet utterly livable showcase of mid-century and contemporary design, nestled within its Mediterranean architectural context.
Across the voluminous interior spaces and the sprawling exterior grounds and terraces, we installed 85 post-war and contemporary works alongside newly commissioned pieces. Select artists represented in the collection include Joe Overstreet, Miriam Schapiro, Ray Parker, Kikuo Saito, Kyle Morris, Howard Kanovitz, Michael Boyd, Jorge Fick, Sidney Geist, Mia Fonssagrives Solow, Elise Ferguson, Douglas Denniston and Sydney Butchkes.
