A range of animal-inspired patterns helps bring a friendly tone to any space, be it literal or abstract, playful or sculptural. We’re particularly drawn to bold patterns, in color and scale, like the flamingo wallpaper found in Brooklyn’s Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, or subtler designs like Diane Von Furstenberg’s python-patterned rug. For a work-in-progress, we’ve energized an empty dining room by enveloping the space in a Birds de Gournay landscape. To top off the theme, we styled the tabletop with brass deer accessories, bringing an otherwise stoic room to life.
